Would you believe us if we told you that one of the hardest things we had to do in launching our collection was coming up with the name for our brand? We thought it was going to be fun to brainstorm. Boy were we wrong! We wanted to come up with a brand name that people would remember and could pronounce, that had significance to us, that would look good as a URL... the list went on and on.

We brainstormed, we scoured the dictionary and the thesaurus, we tried to make up words, but nothing struck. One day, while sitting at our kitchen island, ringing out from the next room was Brandon singing contently to himself ‘Happy Birthday Toooka, Happy Birthday Tooooka’ while playing with his stuffed red panda. Then inspiration struck – toucca kids, the name of our brand was inspired by Brandon's favorite childhood toy. 

Our sunglasses are designed to be both functional yet durable to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use. Similar to premium adult designer sunglasses, we use acetate due to its hypoallergenic properties and versatility. The acetate we use in every pair of our children’s sunglasses is constructed from wood pulp and natural cotton fibers, making it an eco-friendly option. Because of the acetate, our sunglasses can be crafted in sophisticated, unique, and classic styles with patterns that will not fade.

We believe quality is very important for children’s products and sunglasses should be no different. That is why all toucca kids’ sunglasses are cut from acetate sheets, then precision crafted and finished by hand to ensure a pair of high-quality sunglasses. toucca kids was born from the necessity for quality-made sunglasses geared towards young children and the parents who desire stylish yet comfortable eyewear for their kiddos!

We use only the highest-quality acetate, TAC polarized lenses, and German-made OBE spring hinges, as well as comfort-fit nose pads, to ensure that each pair of toucca kids' sunglasses provides comfort and lasting fit without sacrificing style. Each pair is handcrafted as opposed to injection molded, allowing for greater control over the final fit and finish of each pair. We design our frames with the unique fit of young children’s facial structures in mind.

toucca kids offers same-day shipping on all orders received prior to 12 pm EST. Orders received after 12 pm EST will be shipped the following day; however, if it falls on a national holiday or the weekend, the order will go out the following business day. Delivery times do not include weekends or national holidays.

All orders are shipped using USPS First Class. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from toucca kids with a tracking number which will allow you to monitor the delivery progress of your order.

Orders placed for addresses within the US can be expected to arrive within 1-3 business days from the order’s ship date. Orders placed for shipment to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico may take anywhere between 4-5 business days from the order’s ship date. At this time, we do not offer shipping to Canada or International shipping.

At toucca kids, we are committed to ensuring you, our customers, fall head over heels in love with their sunglasses! Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us at return@touccakids.com within 30 days of receiving your purchase and provide us with your name, order number, and a reason for the return. We will happily assist you with a return or exchange. Returns must include the sunglasses, case, and accessories in new saleable condition along with the original packing/order slip. Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of returns. Once we have received your returned package and have inspected it, your refund will be issued in the original form of payment you used to purchase the order. Please be aware that banking institutions may delay refunds due to processing times.
